Tate is passionate about green buildings and sustainable design. As an architect and LEED Accredited Professional, he knows the value of climate-specific, sustainable design that enhances our community and environment. At the Energy Center, Tate provides building design assistance and education for our commercial high performance building initiatives. He is a licensed architect and serves as a member of the Energy and Atmosphere Technical Advisory Group of the United States Green Building Council, and as President for the American Institute of Architects - Southwest Chapter of Wisconsin.
