John brings applied field experience to designing training curriculum for the Energy Center's award winning professional education programs. His background as an HVAC contractor and his work conducting home performance assessments provide the practical foundation for the programs he designs. He knows firsthand the challenges that building contractors face and has provided training seminars on solutions to those challenges. At the Energy Center, John identifies opportunities for expanding the content of Energy Center training programs and delivering those programs to a wide audience.

  Energy Center University is the gateway to live event and online training powered by the Energy Center of Wisconsin.
• Better Buildings: Better Business Conference
  The Energy Center's flagship event for residential builders and remodelers draws participants from the Midwest for three days of seminars focusing on building science for cold climates (held in Wisconsin Dells, WI and Schaumburg, IL).
• Regular Appearances on Wisconsin Public Radio
  Mark your calendar for the second Thursday of every other month as John Viner will be a regular guest on Larry Meiller's talk show on Wisconsin Public Radio.
